As an effective method to improve the damage threshold of optical components in laser confinement nuclear fusion device, laser pretreatment technology has important use value and academic value. The research status of laser pretreatment is introduced. The method and its application of small spot raster scanning preprocessing and the problems to be noticed are introduced. Several widely accepted enhancement mechanisms of pretreatment are discussed, and the prospect of laser pretreatment technology is also discussed.
