01.5个6岁的女孩发明了一款专为残疾人或关节炎患者翻书的翻书器。她们都来自“超人女孩”乐高联队(“Supergirls”Lego League Team)。这些“超人女孩”首先构思出设计概念,然后从各种乐高电组件和齿轮中挑选所需。她们发现,乐高橡胶轮胎上的摩擦力可以被用于提、翻书页。她们还使用了另一种电组件来使翻过来的书页变得平整。02.为了激励少数族裔孩子参与STEM学习,美属维尔京岛的伊莲娜·克里斯汀高中(Elena L.Christian Jr.High School)开展了“美国队火箭挑战”(Team America Rocketry Challenge)项目,并鼓励学生带着自己发明的火箭在全国各地展示、比赛。此番参与该项目的5位学生来到白宫一展风采。
01.5 6-year-old girl invented a book-changer for people with disabilities or arthritis. They all come from “Super Girl” Lego League (“Supergirls” “Lego League Team). These ”Superman Girls“ first conceived design concepts and then selected everything from the various LEGO components and gears. They found that friction on LEGO rubber tires could be used to lift and flip pages. They also used another kind of electrical components to flatten the pages they turned over. 02. In an effort to motivate ethnic minority children to participate in STEM learning, Elena L. Christian Jr. High School of the US Virgin Islands conducted the ”Team America Rocketry Challenge ) Project, and encourage students to bring their own rocket show throughout the country, competitions. This time participating in the project five students came to the White House show style.
