11年以前,我从来没有想过自己的生活有一天会与中国相连,我更没有想过自己有朝一日能讲一口普通话,并凭着对中国政治、文化和社会的了解,成为澳大利亚中国工商业委员会的首席执行官,从事促进澳中商界交流合作的事务。2006年,上大学二年级的我参加了“汉语桥”世界大学生中文比赛并夺得了澳洲赛区的总冠军。后来我又到北京参加总决赛,并且认识了来自全球各地的选手。2007到2008年,我以国际交换学生的身份被新南威尔士大学选送到清华大学学习一年,这让我的中文水平得到了飞速提高。一直到现在我都觉得,如果当年没有参加
I never imagined that my life would one day be linked to China 11 years ago. I never even thought I could speak a mandarin one day and became a member of the Australian Chinese Business Council with my understanding of Chinese politics, culture and society.
