多年来人们一直在探索防止皮质激素引起垂体-肾上腺皮质(下简称P-A)机能减退的方法,主要途径有:①寻找拮抗皮质激素抑制P-A副作用,但又不影响激素疗效的药物如:外源性促皮质素(ACTH)、性激素(丙酸睾酮,甲基雄烯二醇;苯丙酸诺龙、康复龙)、甘草次酸,5-羟色氨酸等,但效果均不甚满意,争议较大。②改变投药方式,以减轻或消除激素对P-A的抑制,但又不引起原有疾病的反跳加剧。如:采用较小的维持量,间歇疗法,隔日疗法等。这些方法仍存在一些问题如:常可引起原有疾病
