对大兴安岭中段铜多金属矿床硫化物矿物的微量元素研究表明,虽然该区矿床类型不同,但闪锌矿种属一致,多为铁闪锌矿和含铁闪锌矿,而方铅矿中Sb、Bi、Ag含量却明显不同;黄铜矿中的Co、Ni含量明显大于黄铁矿中的Co、Ni含量;各类型矿床中方铅矿、闪锌矿、黄铜矿、黄铁矿等硫化物中Ag普遍有较高的含量,反映了大兴安岭中段银处于高异常区,银、金、镉、铟往往具有综合利用价值。
