透视学是伴随绘画艺术的产生与发展,不断完善并与绘画以及绘画相关的其它领域密切联系的独立学科,是将科学与艺术相结合的理论产物,绘画一旦脱离了透视学现象的关系,将不能看作真正意义的绘画。当人类将绘画作为重要的艺术活动之时,透视学也随之而生。无论是在西方造型为主的绘画艺术还是在中国传统表现意境的笔墨丹青中,透视学对绘画的影响是深远的,没有透视就没有经典的绘画艺术,也不会有透视现象的研究和表现。
