Objective To investigate the correlation between neonatal asphyxia and renal dysfunction. Methods 100 cases of neonatal asphyxia, mild asphyxia 36 cases (mild asphyxia group), 64 cases of severe asphyxia (severe asphyxia group), while 100 normal newborns were selected as the control group, the three groups were observed in the kidney function Damage indicators to be tested. Results The difference of the first and second test results between β2-microglobulin (β2-MG), urine microalbumin, creatinine and serum urea nitrogen in neonates with severe asphyxia showed statistically significant difference (P < 0.05). Severe asphyxia group, mild asphyxia group and the control group observed the clinical observation index results, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion Asphyxia neonatorum is one of the main causes of neonatal renal dysfunction. Therefore, timely and appropriate measures should be taken to reduce renal dysfunction in neonates with asphyxia.
