工业之于一个国家,一座城市,是最基本的发展动力,是城市化进程中最原始的动力支撑。回溯历史,我国曾一度引领世界文明,但当外国的洋枪洋炮进入中国后,我们的文明不再是我们的骄傲,幸而19世纪的一场洋务运动唤醒了民众的意识,“师夷长技以制夷”的口号使我国民族工业纷纷崛起。转眼间,几个世纪过去了,洋务运动早被历史尘封,但它所倡导的工业兴国,却成了今天国家、城市发展的一个支点。工业强省、工业强市、工业强县已经不仅仅是一句口号,而是实实在在的行动。成都,就是一座正在行动的城市,继2006年创造了工业增加值增幅达到25．6％的成绩后,今年又提出了工业增加值增长目标达到21％的目标。
