This article is an interview with Glen R. Phillips, consultant for the Department of Contemporary Art and Architecture at Getty Research Institute, and Patrick Stephen, Los Angeles editor of International Fashion Art magazine, on the two major feminist artists, Eleanor Antin, Interview with Judy Chicago In this article, the two artists reviewed the social environment in which the feminist movement was just emerging in the United States and the personal history of its own creation. The common left-wing background and the doubts about the traditional view that women do not make any contribution to history have become the source and motivation for the creation of Eleanor Antin and Judy Chicago, who use their works to criticize Western Male-centrism has been tauntingly and persistently satirical and has proposed the principles of feminism, such as mutual cooperation and mutual support, which are diametrically opposed to the principle of competition in the male world. Due to the long-term and important creation of the two artists, they have become important figures in Western contemporary feminist artists.
