生殖生理学的进步,是由于激素的测定和窥镜的进展提供了动态观察的技术。排卵是生殖的基本现象,也是女性化的重要现象。临床上基础体温显示双相性,子宫内膜为分泌期组织像,血中孕酮值上升,尿中孕二醇增高,可确认为排卵。用内窥镜观察已排卵的卵巢,在基础体温上升后2~5天,可见卵巢表面有血管怒张,及卵泡破裂的“裂口”,在其下的血液凝块形成出血性黄体。但也有的黄体表面平坦未见“裂口”,而其中有黄体存在;对此种不见排卵而有黄体形成的卵泡,Jewelewicz称为“未破裂黄体化卵泡症候群”但其发生率未作详细报告。Marik等自1975~
