新时期以来,文论界就文艺与意识形态的关系进行了两次讨论:第一次主要集中于文艺是意识形态还是意识形式,文艺的非意识形态性,是否有必要区分社会意识形式与社会意识形态、文艺作品与文艺观点;第二次主要集中于如何正确地理解马克思主义关于意识形态、文艺与意识形态关系的解释,“审美意识形态”概念是否科学,“审美意识形态”理论的得失等几个方面。这两次讨论丰富了对马克思主义和文艺的认识,但是,如何科学地认识这些分歧,仍然是文论界面临的挑战。而且,讨论应该强化对话精神。
