More than a decade ago, we observed demyelination and segregation of megakaryocytes [1], and then proposed three forms of detoxification [2]. Further observations revealed that the megakaryocyte polar nuclei evolve from highly overlapping nuclei that disaggregate, separate (or persist anomalies) and produce more platelets, with a few exceptions. We report 2 cases of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) with megakaryocytes scattered and escape abnormalities
