当听骨全缺失行听骨重建时,常遇到的问题是移植的听骨替代物与鼓膜脱位或穿破鼓膜。另外还有移植物吸收问题。为了克服这些弊病,作者介绍一种proplast假体,其中间部分为特氟隆小栓,一端连接直径3.5毫米、厚0.5毫米的圆碟形Proplast,另一端连接1×2毫米、厚0.5毫米椭圆形的proplast.化学上Proplast系由特氟隆聚合物与透明的炭纤维结合而成。炭纤维能使宿主体液中的蛋白质沉积其上,将移植物伪装起来不受机体的免疫排斥作用。proplast物理外观像暗灰色有弹性的海绵,含有孔隙,并能用刀剪成形。
