中国史前艺术品中有一些刻绘图像特别引人注意,有的图形不易认读,有的涵义一时很难解说。在龙山文化玉器上见到一种十分特殊的“旋目”图像,就是让人难得其解的这一类刻绘。所谓“旋目”,是指史前玉器上见到的一种附带旋线的眼目图像,它同样还出现在彩陶和后来的铜器装饰纹样中。本文要在这里认读并论证其源流的“旋目”图像,并非是新出土的资料,实际是旧题新作,是对中国玉器、彩陶及铜器纹饰旧资料的一点新认识。这个新认识的形成纯属偶然。1998年清明时节,我有幸前往陕西参加公祭黄帝陵的盛大典礼,同时参与黄帝陵基金会在西安举行的一个传统文化学术研讨会。与会者除有不少大陆考古学家,还有一些来自台湾的同
Some Chinese prehistoric works of art are particularly eye-catching images, some difficult to read some graphics, some of the meaning of a moment hard to explain. In Longshan culture jade to see a very special “spinning head” image, is a rare example of this kind of engraving. The so-called “Gyro” refers to a prehistoric jade to see a line with the eyes of the eye image, it also appears in painted pottery and later decorative patterns of bronze.
