贯彻“三个代表”要求本质在坚持执政为民,这一重要观点体现了中国共产党执政的基本理念。本文认为,　　“执政为民”是马克思主义执政党的鲜明特征,是贯彻“三个代表”重要思想和保持党的先进性的必然要求,是巩固党的执政地位的坚实基础。坚持执政为民,其核心就是要努力实现中国最广大人民的根本利益。 To carry out the principle of “three represents,” requires that the essential point of upholding the rule of ruling for the people is that this important point embodies the basic concept of the CPC in power. This article holds that “governing for the people” is a distinctive feature of the ruling party of Marxism, an inevitable requirement of implementing the important thinking of the “three represents” and maintaining the advanced nature of the party, and a solid foundation for consolidating the ruling position of the party. To uphold the principle of governing for the people, its core task is to strive to realize the fundamental interests of the overwhelming majority of the Chinese people.
