自从2004年温家宝总理的《政府工作报告》中提出促进中部崛起概念以来,已有两年的时间,今年3月27日中共中央政治局再次召开研究促进中部地区崛起的专项工作会议,这标志着中部崛起终于将进入全面实施阶段。那么,在这种大政策、大机遇、大发展的背景下,中部机场如何面对市场来实现自我“崛起”呢?笔者认为,中部崛起战略既为中部机场提供了前所未有的发展机遇,又使中部机场面临着史无前例的激烈竞争。一、中部地区及其机场大环境中部崛起涉及六个重要省份:河南、湖北、湖南、安徽、江西、山西。中部六省地处内陆腹地,总人口3.61亿,占全国的28.1%;农村人口高达2.44亿,占全国农村人口的31.2%。与东部、东北和西部不同,中部并不是一个功能相对一体化的经济区域,而是地理位置等形态因素相对一致的大区域,这六省在东西南北的区域发展中形成了举足轻重的中部区域经济体系,是中国的粮仓和现代化工业
