Thymopeptide alpha-1 (Tα1), a small molecule bioactive peptide hormone isolated and purified from thymosin, is a kind of biological response modifiers (BRMs) that regulate lymphocyte development and differentiation, Promote lymphocyte differentiation and maturation, stimulate T cell proliferation, thereby regulating immune function. Indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase (IDO), a heme-containing monomeric protein, is the only enzyme outside the liver that catalyzes the catabolism of tryptophan molecules along the kynurenine pathway The key rate-limiting enzyme, while tryptophan is an essential amino acid for T-cell proliferation. The study found that Tα1 and IDO has a correlation [1], Tα1 and IDO on T cell subsets in patients with leukemia and IDO and T cell subsets of the relationship between the reviewed.
