　　It is a sunny day in autumn. There is a beautiful forest，and a flock of birds live in it. Listen! A bird is singing happily.

　　Happy Bird： I’m Happy Bird. I have a sweet family. Look! This is my mum. Mum! Mum!
　　Mother： Oh，my dear!
　　Happy Bird： Sister! Sister!
　　Sister： Oh! My dear sister!
　　Happy Bird： Mummy，sister，is it OK? I want to play.
　　Sister： Come here，Happy Bird! Let’s build our nest.
　　Happy Bird： So tired! So bored! I need a rest. The nest，it’s early.
　　Suddenly，someone is coming.

　　Lazy Worm： I’m Lazy Worm. I want to play.
　　Happy Bird： My God! Who are you?
　　Lazy Worm： Don’t be afraid! I’m Lazy Worm. I know a lot of fun. Come and play with me!
　　Happy Bird： You’re so cool!
　　Lazy Worm： Of course. Come on，you’ll have a lot of fun!
　　From then on，Happy Bird plays with Lazy Worm day and night，forgetting the nest.
　　Happy Bird： Winter? Early! Nest? Early!
　　Winter comes，windy and snowy. The animals in the forest stay in their warm home，but Happy Bird has no nest! She is cold and hungry.

　　Mother and Sister are running from a distance.
　　Mother： My poor child，where are you? It’s so cold.

　　Mother： Happy Bird，is that you?
　　Happy Bird： Mummy，mummy! It’s me.
　　Mother： My poor child，just hang on a second.

　　Happy Bird sees Lazy Worm，and she is waving to him.

　　Lazy Worm： I’m leaving! La la la ...
　　Happy Bird： （Cries sadly）Oh! No one helps me. Tired！Cold! What can I do? I’m dying.

　　Happy Bird： No! I can’t give up! Mummy says，one can truly grow up on his own.
　　Happy Bird wipes away her tears and tries! Finally，she finds some food. Happy Bird isn’t hungry. She goes home and sees Lazy Worm lying by the road.
　　Happy Bird： Hey，friend! What’s wrong with you?
　　Lazy Worm： Oh， give me food. I’m too hungry.
　　Happy Bird： Dear friend，we can’t play all the time. Playing can make us happy，but the happiness won’t last for long.
　　Lazy Worm： Well，what should I do?
　　Happy Bird： Learn to look for food and build your home.
　　Lazy Worm： Yes. I won’t be that lazy any more. I will work hard!

　　Lazy Worm& Happy Bird： We used to play all the time. But now we will work hard together and get ready for every day with more efforts.
