受语言环境、教学条件、家庭经济状况等客观因素的制约,农村中学多数学生学的是“哑巴英语”、“聋子英语”。在英语课堂上,他们自卑内向,很少有成就感,情绪消极抵触,出现交际畏惧,逐步沦落为英语后进生。英语学科的弱势不仅直接影响着他们的高考升学,在很大程度上也限制了将来的就业,而且从长远角度看更不利于他们的身心健康和全面发展。笔者就如何有效转化农村中学英语后进生发表一己之见。
Subject to the objective factors such as language environment, teaching conditions and family economic status, most of the students in rural middle school learn “dumb English” and “deaf English”. In the English classroom, they are introverted, seldom have a sense of accomplishment, negative emotions and negative emotions, appear communicative fear, and gradually reduced to English. The weakness of English disciplines not only directly affects their college entrance exams but also to a large extent restricts future employment. In the long run, their disadvantage is not conducive to their physical and mental health and their all-round development.
