目前国内外都在从发动机的设计结构上考虑降低油耗,即采用转子部件和静子部件之间最小而又合理的间隙结构,如蜂窝结构、双金属、封严涂层等。实践证明,采用涂层的办法是一种较理想的解决办法,即把涂层涂覆在旋转件和静子件上,当发动机工作时,动、静件之间产生干涉、磨擦、磨损一部分涂层,从而得到了发动机工作状态下的最小间隙。这样可提高发动机的工作效率,改善性能,节约能源,降低油耗0.8~1%左右,并使发动机的使用寿命提高。
