大地电磁测深资料的处理有四分量和五分量之分:四分量是指采集和处理都选用两个水平电场分量 E_x,E_v 和两个水平磁场分量 H_x,H_y;而五分量是指在水平电、磁场四分量的基础上,再加入一个垂直磁分量 H_z。众所周知,依据垂直磁场分量 H_z 可以确定地层的倾向,所以五分量的处理手段较四分量的处理更加优越。本文仅对美国地质电子仪器公司 M78SRA 型大地电磁测深数字仪的配套常规处理程序 MAGTAN 的计算方法加以讨论。
There are four components and five components in the processing of MT data: the four components refer to two horizontal electric field components E_x and E_v and two horizontal magnetic field components H_x and H_y, both of which are collected and processed; Electric and magnetic field on the basis of four components, then add a vertical magnetic component H_z. As we all know, based on the vertical magnetic field component H_z can determine the propensity of the formation, so the five-component processing means more superior than the four-component processing. This article only discusses the calculation method of MAGTAN, a routine processing program of the M78SRA digital terrestrial digital sounding instrument of the United States Geological Electronics Corporation.
