值日报告是大学基础英语教学中不可缺少的教学环节。本文指出了值日报告在提高学生听、说能力、培养学生学习英语的兴趣、丰富学生的文化知识、增加学生词汇量的积累等方面的重要作用,并总结了指导学生做好值日报告的方法。 Value report is an indispensable teaching link in college English teaching. This paper points out the important role of DDS in improving students ’ability of listening and speaking, cultivating students’ interest in learning English, enriching students ’cultural knowledge and increasing students’ vocabulary accumulation. It also summarizes the importance of instructing students to do daily report method.
