Iodine deficiency disorders (IDDs) are a collective term for a group of diseases manifested by iodine deficiency in the body due to iodine deficiency in the natural environment [1]. It includes endemic goiter, cretinism, subclinical cretinism, premature birth, miscarriage, stillbirth and so on.
