视频案例教学是对以视频形式表达出来的案例在教师的指导下,就案例所提供的材料和问题展开分析研究,进行定性和决策,籍以提高学生分析和解决问题能力的一种教学方法。视频案例教学具有信息丰富、客观真实、形象生动的优点,有利于培养学生综合分析能力。视频案例要遴选、编辑、结合教学任务设计加工,在课堂运用时要嵌入提问、讨论、辩论等环节。无法从媒介获得合适的视频案例时,可以组织学生创制视频案例应用于教学。
