In this paper, atmospheric ammonia hydrolysis of nitrochlorobenzenes with formamide as solvent was studied. 2,4-Dinitrochlorobenzene can be quantitatively aminolysed under normal pressure and for a short time in formamide, and formamide can be recovered by direct suction filtration for recycling. Mononitrohalobenzene, no matter where the nitro group is present, can be ammonololyzed under atmospheric pressure in the presence of copper salts and sodium acetate. Explore several factors that affect the response.
