Asia-Asia: According to legend, ancient Phoenicians stood on the shores of the Aegean Sea, dividing the earth into two parts and the side where the sun was rising. They called “Ahu” (ACU), meaning “sunrise”. “Asia Minor” was transformed from the word “Asian Su”. Europa Chau: Ancient Phoenicians named the sun as “Er eb,” meaning “sunless land.” Later, the “Yelieb” sound gradually became “Europa”. In Afrika, there is an argument that “African” means “sunburning” in Latin, where the equator crosses the middle of the mainland and the tropical climate accounts for 95 percent of the entire continent. According to another view, in the ancient Kalphagan area, the main inhabitants were the Afrikaans. After the Romans occupied the area, the “African province” was established. The name was later extended to the entire continent.
