在院系教学及学校开放实验室项目的支持下,结合学生的毕业论文,对于以土壤动物开展研究。学生在导师的辅导下,检索相关文献,学习采集土壤动物的方法,在适当时期(比如寒暑假),规定一定数量的采集量,用导师提供的采集工具,在自己家附近对研究所需标本进行采集,然后将采集样本开学后带到实验室内进行进一步的研究,最后写出相关的总结或论文。一定时间后,在学校的选课系统内,将该项工作作为一门选修课,由导师给每个参与的学生打分,算入学生的总学分。其结果和结论为实验所需仪器药品较少,每个实验室内均可容纳多名学生,故可以为较多学生提供参与实验室开放的机会。
