In 2009, the television series “Dwelling House” attracted much attention because of the sensitive issues involving the young house slaves. Many television channels competed for performances and formed another upsurge after watching “long for” in the 1990s. In the same year, A “house” (formerly known as “room slave”), which is called a livelihood drama series, is also on the screen, sparking heated discussions from the audience. The former reflects the current youth concept of sudden change in the economic tide and their destiny. The latter focuses on the confusion and struggles of the middle-aged and younger generations caused by economic restructuring and turning of life.
