Objective To understand the personal dose level and dynamic changes of occupational exposure of radiation workers in military hospital in a certain military region, find the weak links and improve the protection level. Methods The thermo-luminescence was used to monitor the occupational exposure dose of radiation workers from a military hospital in a military region from 2010 to 2014 and the results were statistically analyzed. Results A total of 4 983 radiological staffs were recruited in the military hospital for personal dose monitoring from 2010 to 2014, with a per capita exposure of 0.57 mSv / a and a yearly dose of less than 5 mSv / a, accounting for 98.01% of the total. The annual per capita dose showed a downward trend, Radiation staff occupational exposure to the highest individual dose, per capita 2.96mSv / a, X-ray diagnostic staff minimum occupational exposure, per capita 0.32mSv / a. Conclusion The individual dose level of most radiation workers in a military hospital in a military region is relatively low and declines gradually. The radiation work place basically meets the requirements of national occupational exposure limits.
