生物标志物作为暴露与疾病之间的中间产物,在评价环境有害因素对健康的影响方面有重要意义。随着分子生物学理论和检测技术的发展,人们发现的生物标志物的种类越来越多,然而候选生物标志物被确定为有效的生物标志物之前必须经过来自实验室、流行病学研究或临床方面的验证。经过验证的生物标志物才能应用于预防医学和临床实践,发挥其在健康危险预警中的作用。
Biomarkers, as an intermediate between exposure and disease, are important in assessing the health effects of environmentally harmful agents. With the development of molecular biology theory and detection technology, more and more types of biomarkers have been discovered. However, candidate biomarkers must be identified as effective biomarkers before they come from laboratory, epidemiological studies or Clinical validation. Validated biomarkers can be used in preventive medicine and clinical practice to play their role in early warning of health risks.
