Today’s AIDS problem is already at the top of the global agenda. Even after the “September 11” incident attracted people’s new attention to terrorism, the world has continued to pay attention to the AIDS issue. When UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan won the Nobel Peace Prize, two new challenges now facing the United Nations were also mentioned: terrorism and AIDS. And since China was a land of purity 16 years ago, it is now a country where AIDS can be found everywhere. Statistics show that at least 600,000 people in China are now infected with AIDS, but this is only a conservative figure. According to insiders, there are already 1 million people living with AIDS in China. In addition, the mode of transmission of AIDS in China is even more special.
