[World Nuclear News website reported on November 20, 2015] The Japan Atomic Regulations Commission (NRA) recently approved the operation of three aircrews up to the 40-year life allowed by its permit. These three units include the restored Chuanchi Unit 2 and the soon-to-be restarted Gao-Bin Units 3 and 4. According to the laws of Japan, when the nuclear power generation crew reaches 30 years of service, the regulation committee needs to check the maintenance plan of the operator.
