本文就等温淬火对二种相似化学成份的灰铁的显微组织和机械性能的作用进行了评价。用于金相、X射线、硬度和抗拉强度试验的试样在843℃奥氏体化,并在288~371℃温度范围内等温淬火。对于35~(?)灰铁可获得425MPa(61ksi)的抗拉强度。在316℃而不是在量低温度1288℃等温淬火获得最高抗拉强度。据信这是由于等温淬火温度降低时奥氏体体积百分率减少了。
In this paper, the effect of austempering on the microstructure and mechanical properties of two gray irons with similar chemical compositions was evaluated. Specimens for metallographic, X-ray, hardness and tensile strength tests were austenitized at 843 ° C and areothermal quenched at a temperature in the range of 288 to 371 ° C. For 35 ~ (?) Gray iron 425MPa (61ksi) tensile strength can be obtained. The highest tensile strength was obtained by isothermal quenching at 316 ° C rather than at a low amount of 1288 ° C. It is believed that this is due to a decrease in austenite volume fraction as the austempering temperature decreases.
