In this paper, the strength and deformation experiments of stratified composite rocks with different sizes and different lithologies were carried out using the Brazilian method. It was found that the composite rock has an abnormal lithological deformation characteristic when stretched. This property makes composite rocks. Tensile failure is always performed in the order of high-strength rock to low-strength rock. Experiments have also shown that for composite rocks with constant thickness ratios and composite thicknesses within 1.6 to 2.5 cm, the Brazilian law does not have a large effect on tensile strength; the total thickness remains unchanged, and the change in the thickness ratio of the layers in each layer is opposed. Tensile strength has a greater impact.
