德胜门昔为明清北京城九门之一,东与安定门遥相对峙,是旧都北城的重要门户。今旧城已废,唯此箭楼孑然独存。据文献记载,德胜门月城箭楼始建于明正统元年(公元1436年),万历二十年(公元1592年)一度重修,至清康熙十八年(公元1679年)京师大地震,惨遭摧毁,再度重建,至今已有五百四十多年历史。箭楼身高19.30米,矗立在雄厚的墩台上,平面呈凸字形,前为正楼,宽七间(29.77米),
The Deshengmen was one of the nine gates of the Beijing city in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The east was opposite to the Anding Gate, and it was an important gateway to the north of the old capital. This old city has been abandoned, but this Arrow House seems to be alone. According to historical records, the arrow building of Deshengmen Yuecheng was built in the first year of the Ming Dynasty (AD 1436), and was rebuilt in Wanli for 20 years (AD 1592) until the Qing Emperor Kangxi 18 (AD 1679) earthquake. It has been destroyed and rebuilt. There have been more than 540 years of history. The archery building is 19.30 meters tall and stands on a thick abutment. The plane is convex, front is the main building, and it is seven rooms wide (29.77 meters).
