《吕氏春秋》是我国古代影响力最大的杂家作品,其中有大量的音乐史料。相较而言,《十二纪》中音乐史料常被学术界广泛关注,但是《八览》和《六论》中的音乐史料则被关注甚少。《八览》记录的多是音乐官员的言行,提及的也多为礼器或军乐,《六论》则提供了大量的民间风俗性的音乐人、物、事、理方面的信息。这间接反映了音乐在当时人的生活中占比重之大和地位之高。
“Lu’s Spring and Autumn” is the most influential ancient miscellaneous works of ancient China, including a large number of musical materials. In comparison, the historical materials of the “Twelve Kingdoms” are often paid much attention by the academic circles, but the historical materials of “Eight Views” and “The Sixth Theory” are paid little attention. The “Eight Views” mostly records the words and deeds of music officials, mentions more about ceremonies or martial music, and the Sixth Commentaries provide a large amount of folk-custom information about people, things, things and reasons about music. This indirect reflects the music in the lives of people at the moment accounted for a large proportion and status.
