进行社会主义现代化建设,离不开矿产资源这一重要的物质基础。在当前乃至可以预见的将来;社会生产所需的资源,80％以上仍将取自地下。一个国家矿产资源的丰度如何,是其国力强弱的一个重要标志。而矿产资源的开发利用,又取决于地质勘查工作的程度和水平。可见,地质勘查业是处于整个国民经济最前端的一个基础产业。正如毛泽东同志所说,它的工作搞不好,一马挡路,万马不能前行。因此,欲加速社会主义现代化建设进程,必须大力发展地质事业。
To carry out socialist modernization, it is inseparable from the important material basis of mineral resources. In the current and even foreseeable future, more than 80% of the resources required for social production will still be taken from the ground. The abundance of mineral resources in a country is an important indicator of its national strength. The development and utilization of mineral resources depends on the degree and level of geological exploration work. It can be seen that the geological exploration industry is a basic industry at the forefront of the entire national economy. As Comrade Mao Zedong said, its work is not working well and it is a horse that can’t move forward. Therefore, in order to accelerate the process of socialist modernization, we must vigorously develop geological undertakings.
