Agricultural production is a place where natural science and technological achievements are widely used. The progress of agricultural production and agricultural science has a close relationship with the development of natural sciences, especially with the development and widespread application of modern science, which has opened up a broad road for the development of agricultural science. However, while applying these disciplines, there is no compelling tool for mathematical methods. Since all physical movements show quantitative changes, we can accumulate data through experimental observations and instrumental measurements, and after inductive analysis, find out the quantitative laws of things, which are more conducive to the understanding of the nature of things. Whenever we talk about the relationship between agricultural science and mathematics, we immediately think of agricultural experiment design and variable analysis. This is a branch of mathematics. It is a mathematical statistical method based on probability theory, error theory, and least-squares method. This method has been widely used in agricultural science and it is quite effective. Because agricultural production is influenced by many internal and external factors, the use of variable analysis can help us to exclude minor and accidental factors from complex relationships, confirm the role of major factors in crop growth, and summarize experimental data. The characteristics of the agricultural production provide objective and quantitative criteria and theoretical basis. In addition to the influence of natural factors on the growth and development of crops, human activity factors have a greater impact. In actual production activities, we often use different treatments to change the growing conditions of crops and promote agriculture.
