Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) refers to transient paroxysmal vertigo induced by a particular head position. The incidence of the disease is high, accounting for about 17% to 20% of all peripheral vertigo [1]. Although the etiopathogenisis and pathogenesis of BPPV are not completely elucidated, it is currently believed that the disease is due to a series of clinical manifestations caused by the degenerated otoliths in the oval sacs that fall into the semicircular canal, with the head position changing in the semicircular canal. The latter half of the highest incidence of regulatory disease.
