A recent systematic review and meta-analysis published in the European Journal of Cardiology evaluated the impact of complete occlusion and occlusion of the culprit artery on clinical outcome in patients with non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI). Researchers conducted a meta-analysis of 40 777 NSTEMI patients in 7 studies after literature search, of whom 10415 (25.5%) had complete occlusion of the culprit artery and were mainly located in the inferior wall (40% of the right coronary artery and left circumflex artery, respectively % And 33%). The analysis showed that the complete occlusion of the culprit arteries compared with the criminals without occlusion could lead to major adverse cardiac events (MACE)
