The date clam, Lithophaga lithophaga is a popular edible bivalve. It was collected from three different locations (Abo-Quir, Miami and El-Mex) along the coast of Alexandria-Egypt to determine the effect of two heavy metals as copper (Cu) and cadmium (Cd).
