Objective: To detect the gene expression of MAPK signaling pathway in familial hypertension in order to find out whether this pathway is involved in the formation of familial hypertension. Methods: Five patients with history of hypertension in the immediate family members of more than three generations were selected as experimental group and five healthy volunteers as control group. Real-time quantitative PCR was used to detect the expression of functional classification of MAPK signaling pathway in peripheral blood. Results: Compared with the control group, there were 55 genes with> 2.0-fold expression in MAPK signaling pathway and 1 gene with ≤0.5-fold expression in MAPK signaling pathway. Conclusion: The MAPK signaling pathway plays an important role in the pathogenesis of familial hypertension and involves a wide range of functional classification genes.
