玉门位于甘肃西部地区，玉门油田包括东经92°—106°、北纬36°—41°40＇之间的甘肃省大部分及相邻的内蒙古自治区马鬃山额济纳旗和阿拉善旗地区，面积45万平方公里，有大小沉积盆地30个。今年8月26日，玉门油田迎来了60岁寿诞。玉门油田比大庆油田早20年，比胜利油田早25年
Yumen is located in the western part of Gansu Province. The Yumen Oilfield covers most of the Gansu Province, between 92°-106°E and 36°-41°40’N latitude, and is adjacent to the Ejinaqi and Alashanqi regions of the Maji Mountain in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. 450,000 square kilometers, 30 large and small sedimentary basins. On August 26 this year, Yumen Oilfield celebrated its 60th birthday. Yumen Oilfield is 20 years earlier than Daqing Oilfield and 25 years earlier than Shengli Oil Field
