This article argues that the application prospect of CLT in speaking in China. Through the illustration of CLT origination, development and features, we put more emphasis on the analysis of the present situation of CLT in China. This essay will briefly describe what the constraints of CLT in English teaching, how to overcome the resistance and apply it into English language teaching effectively in future.
