通过对经典美学理论的继承和批判,卡西尔创造性地提出了基于符号学的美学理论,认为艺术是发现客观形式、创造性构建形态、发散性超越现实的过程。艺术与美的符号本质体现在艺术作品的普遍性、丰富性、真实性和特殊性等方面,艺术审美必定与艺术作品的历史、文化、价值等相结合,与其他文化符号、物质符号是密不可分的。艺术应该是具有“生命”存在,艺术构建是艺术符号的自主选择与糅合的过程,是艺术家合乎规律性的自由创作。卡西尔符号美学理论的提出作为西方美学发展的重要转折点,对近现代美学研究有着巨大的指引和激励作用。
Through the inheritance and criticism of classical aesthetics theory, Cassire creatively put forward aesthetics theory based on semiotics and argues that art is a process of discovering objective forms, creatively building forms and diverging beyond reality. The essence of the symbol of art and beauty is embodied in the universality, richness, authenticity and particularity of art works. Art aesthetics must be combined with the history, culture and value of works of art, and is inseparable from other cultural symbols and material symbols of. Art should have the existence of “life ”, art construction is the process of self-selection and blending of artistic symbols, and it is the free creation of artists conforming to laws. As an important turning point in the development of Western aesthetics, the proposition of Cassirer’s aesthetics theory has great guidance and inspiration to the study of modern aesthetics.
