长期以来,民间流传着不少动物预知自然灾害的传说。如2004年印度洋海啸中,斯里兰卡一野生动物公园的动物在海啸来临前感到大难临头,纷纷避到高地才躲过一劫,之后又重返栖息地。大量事实证明:动物在自然灾害到来前,的确拥有奇异的避险本能。如果人类对这种现象进行有效的研究和运用,将对预报自然灾害及减少灾害损失具有重大作用。动物预知自然灾害的能力源自哪里?学界一直众说纷纭,其原理至今未完全弄清。目前,比较一致的观点认
For a long period of time, many folk have circulated many legends that animals foretell natural disasters. For example, in the Indian Ocean tsunami of 2004, animals in a wildlife park in Sri Lanka were struck by a disaster before the tsunami. They avoided the heights and escaped into the habitat. A large number of facts have proved that animals do have singular hedging instincts before the onset of natural disasters.
