台湾特殊教育事业发展至今已有百年历史,从1891年开始历经了植基、实验推广、法制建置、蓬勃发展和精致服务五个时期。百年来的教育探索和创新,使台湾的特殊教育事业取得了长足进步。台湾在特殊教育的发展方面有许多值得我们借鉴和学习之处。一、台湾特殊教育事业发展的基本概况1.植基时期(1891—1961)服务学生:盲生、聋生、肢障生、智障生、自闭生。特教机构:台北盲聋学校、台南聋哑学校等12所学校(院)。法规:一般教育法规。
Taiwan’s special education has enjoyed a century-long development so far. It has undergone five phases of planting, experiment promotion, legal establishment, vigorous development and exquisite service since 1891.
