扶风县人民医院始建于1940年,是集医疗、教学、科研、预防保健为一体的综合性二级甲等医院,承担着县域内44万人及毗邻县区10多万人口的医疗保健任务。医院占地面积23万平方米,建筑面积34万平方米,开设病床350张,在职职工480名,其中高级技术人员21名,中级技术人员85名,专业技术人员占职工总数的80％。医院年门诊量18万多人次,住院病人12万多人次。
