Objective To investigate the relationship between serum sodium levels and child-pugh classification, major complications and mortality in patients with decompensated cirrhosis. Methods We retrospectively analyzed 72 patients with decompensated cirrhosis and hyponatremia treated by our department. The main complications and mortality of child-pugh classification were compared between patients with different degrees of hyponatremia. Results Child-pugh A grade, hyponatremia incidence of 20%; B grade was 37.9%; C grade was 62.5%; (P <0.05), with significant differences, the main complications and mortality and low sodium were With correlation (P <0.05). Conclusion Serum sodium level in patients with decompensated cirrhosis is related to the prognosis of disease severity.
