本刊82年第二期刘延慈同志的“多层砖房抗震砖墙设计的简易方法”一文(下称刘文)对于重量和刚度沿房屋高度分布比较均匀、各楼层大体相同的多层砖房,在满足抗震构造要求的条件下,进行抗震强度验算,以砖墙允许负荷面积作抗震检验的指标,使抗震计算大为简化,该法具有便于合理布置抗震砖墙、结果直观,物理概念明确等优点。刘文的允许负荷面积表,系根据多层砖房抗震计算结果,经过归纳得出,笔者欲就该文的内容,根据个人在设计实践中的体会,谈几点意见,有不妥之处,请指正。

After summarizing the results, the author wanted to discuss the contents of the article and discuss some opinions based on personal experience in the design practice.
